According to statistics, in the past five years, the total number of patent administrative law enforcement cases alone reached 190,000, with an average annual increase of 40%. The social satisfaction of intellectual property protection increased from 63 points in 2012 to 76 points in 2017.

　　Shen Changyu said that the next step is to unswervingly implement a strict intellectual property protection system, accelerate the revision of the patent law, introduce punitive compensation measures, and increase the punishment for all kinds of infringements, so that infringers will pay a heavy price. At the same time, we should actively build a work pattern of intellectual property protection, and work with relevant departments to comprehensively use various channels such as administrative law enforcement, judicial protection, arbitration and mediation to form a joint force for intellectual property protection.
