Model worker classes in the new era

In recent years, with the rise of short video platforms and the popularity of smart internet devices among students, the phenomenon of minors indulging in short videos has become increasingly prominent. Previously, many media reported that primary and secondary school students were addicted to brushing short videos, which caused great headaches for parents. According to the survey report "Characteristics and Protection of Short Videos for Primary and Secondary School Students" released by China Youth Research Center, 65.6% of the minors surveyed have watched short videos, and 20% of them "almost always" watch short videos. It is an indisputable fact that short videos have a deeper and deeper influence on minors.
Seeing that primary and secondary school students spend more and more time on short videos, some people are deeply worried that this habit will have a negative impact on minors’ self-control, concentration and cognitive level. To this end, many people have called on short video platforms and regulators to take more actions to reverse the current situation, guide minors to optimize their audio-visual habits, use the Internet scientifically and healthily, and reduce their addiction to short videos.
In order to solve this problem, various short video platforms have launched various anti-addiction countermeasures such as youth mode, but in practice, it is not difficult for children to bypass supervision with the help of elders or technical means. At the same time, the relevant departments are constantly strengthening supervision, cleaning up and rectifying the vulgar and illegal short video content that is harmful to the physical and mental health of minors. However, even if the content of short videos is relatively "clean", it is still something that parents do not want to see that minors watch short videos for a long time and become addicted to brushing videos.
To solve these seemingly intractable problems, we should not only understand the causes of minors’ addiction to short videos from the perspective of family education, but also dialectically look at the influence of online fashion trends on the next generation, and also take more practical actions to create more diversified choices for minors’ spiritual life.
Why are minors easily addicted to short videos? The reason is obviously not as simple as "short videos look good". The research of China Disaster Prevention Association’s research group on preventing teenagers’ internet addiction points out that the immersive platform caters to teenagers’ individual interests and tastes, and "technical dopamine" stimulates teenagers to pursue sustained pleasure, and compensatory satisfaction meets teenagers’ entertainment, information and social needs, all of which are the "tricks" that make teenagers fascinated by short videos. As a form of media, these characteristics of short videos are not "original sin" and may not necessarily lead to addiction. However, if minors find it difficult to find other spiritual lifestyles that can compete with them in all aspects in their lives, they will naturally get deeper and deeper in short videos.
In addition, parents are deaf to their children in family education, which also has a great influence on the behavior habits of minors. As some netizens spit out, in a family, if even parents can’t resist the "magic" of short videos, how can they expect their children to "get out of the mud and not dye" and consciously resist the temptation of short videos? In recent years, it is not difficult for us to observe the phenomenon that middle-aged and elderly people are addicted to mobile apps. The generalized "Internet addiction" is no longer a problem that belongs exclusively to young people. Parents’ words and deeds play a vital and irreplaceable role in the growth of minors. In fact, this is not only a matter of setting an example. If parents can save more time playing mobile phones and brushing short videos, accompany their children to read, watch movies and chat, and organize more parent-child activities such as outings and exhibitions, the entertainment, information and social needs of minors will naturally be more fully met, thus reducing the probability of their addiction to the Internet.
Of course, this is not to put all the responsibility of preventing minors from indulging in the internet on parents. In reality, there are indeed many parents who are busy with their work who appear to be "willing but unable" in their children’s education. From schools, relevant government departments to social organizations and Internet enterprises, all parties who are responsible and enthusiastic about education should take active actions to provide them with more high-quality choices for obtaining information, making friends, relaxing and releasing stress when the Internet is highly integrated into the lives of minors. At the same time, the short video platform should also pay more attention to the rights and interests of minors and standardize its operation under the reasonable supervision of relevant departments.
In addition, it is worth emphasizing that short videos are not a scourge, and the preference of contemporary minors for short videos is not necessarily useless. Although many previous studies have shown that watching short videos for a long time may make people lose patience and it is difficult to digest large pieces of information such as long articles and long videos. However, fragmented audio-visual habits may also be more suitable for the form of information transmission in the Internet age, and its long-term impact is difficult to predict. Faced with the negative impact of short videos, educators can actively guide minors to develop good reading habits and strengthen their training in understanding information. At the same time, they should bear in mind the truth that "blocking is better than sparse" and avoid overcorrection.
Last year, I witnessed an impressive scene while visiting relatives. At that time, the children whose relatives were still in elementary school had been sitting in front of the TV and staring at the screen intently, but what he watched was neither cartoons that his peers liked nor TV dramas that adults liked more, but short videos that were only ten seconds to tens of seconds long. I was surprised not only because it was the first time I saw someone brushing a short video on a big screen, but also because the child brushed it for more than an hour and couldn’t see the slightest boredom.
For most adults, short videos are just "electronic mustard tuber" to kill time. However, the new generation of minors who grew up around short videos may be more adapted to this form of communication with short length, high information density and small amount, so that they are regarded as the main channel to obtain information. In other words, in their lives, "electronic mustard tuber" has become an "electronic staple food". This scene not only makes me deeply feel the existence of the "generation gap", but also reminds me that the development of media technology is likely to bring about changes in cognitive habits between generations. In this regard, we should not only be responsible for the next generation to prevent minors from being addicted to short videos, but also maintain a peaceful and open mind about the new habits and preferences of minors.

Garbage classification "treasure book"

Don’t panic if you are worried that you are "stupid and confused". Beijing’s "four-division method" (harmful waste, recyclables, kitchen waste and other wastes) gives full play to the "fault tolerance" of other wastes. If people can’t distinguish kitchen waste and recyclables particularly accurately, they can put them in other garbage.

Some netizens quoted the jingle:
Blue barrels that can sell money
Perishable green barrels
Toxic and harmful red barrels
Nobody wants a gray bucket.

[XCAR Deep Observation Original]
In 2018, the automobile market was full of words such as "market winter" and "cliff-like decline", which was quite different from the mood of watching the automobile market rise in previous years. According to the data released by China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (hereinafter referred to as China Automobile Association), in 2018, there were 28.081 million vehicles sold in the automobile market and 23.2571 million vehicles sold in passenger cars, both of which were down compared with last year, but they still ranked first in the global automobile market for the tenth consecutive year. Despite the decline in market sales, China remains the largest automobile market in the world.Under the market background of the decline in sales in the automobile market in 2018, what challenges and opportunities will be brought to the automobile enterprises, and this issue will be interpreted in depth. (Source: China Automobile Industry Association/Aika Digital Intelligence Laboratory)

▼ In 2018, the sales volume of passenger car market fell for the first time in 29 years.
Since 1990, the sales volume of China automobile market has been singing all the way, but the continuous growth was broken in 2018. Sales data show that the market maintained a double-digit growth at the beginning of 2018, but the growth rate declined rapidly from April, and finally the sales volume began to decline year-on-year in July, and the decline rate gradually increased. The decline rate of sales in the fourth quarter remained above double digits. From the overall market point of view, cars, SUVs, MPVs and crossover commercial vehicles all showed different degrees of decline.

When forecasting the sales volume at the end of 2017, the China Automobile Association predicted that the automobile market would eventually grow by 2%-3% in 2018. However, under the influence of the complex macroeconomic background, the actual situation of the automobile market was quite different from the forecast. In the end, the sales of passenger cars in 2018 were 23.2571 million, down 4.08% year-on-year.

In 2018, under the complex macroeconomic background, the sales volume of the automobile market declined, which was not unrelated to the policy and the psychology of consumers buying cars. After April, China’s economy entered the stage of deleveraging, which will affect the source of funds for consumers to buy cars with loans to a certain extent, which is also an important reason for the weakening of the automobile industry in the second half of the year. After April 4, 2018, the Sino-US trade dispute became more intense. Although this only increased to the tariff on imported American-made vehicles, it had little impact on the automobile industry. However, with the intensification of the dispute, people’s confidence in the future economy was insufficient, and their expectations for future income also declined. Several factors combined, many people chose to postpone the car purchase plan.
▼ With the increase of the number of brands, the survival of marginal brand products becomes more and more difficult.
In recent years, the sales volume of the automobile market in China has continued to grow, and many brand-new automobile brands have emerged one after another. In 2018, in the face of the decline in the overall sales volume of the automobile market, the "Matthew effect" of the strong Hengqiang has become more and more obvious, and the market has concentrated on more advantageous brands and products. With the increase in the number of domestic automobile brands, it has become increasingly difficult for "marginalized" automobile brands to survive due to product strength and other reasons.
Changan Suzuki is one of the representatives of the brand that has been gradually marginalized. After Changan Suzuki reached the historical peak of 220,000 vehicles in 2011, its sales volume continued to decline, which eventually led Suzuki to choose to withdraw from China. On September 4, 2018, Changan Automobile issued a statement in official website. Chongqing Changan Automobile Co., Ltd. and Suzuki Co., Ltd. reached an agreement on the acquisition of equity of Chongqing Changan Suzuki Automobile Co., Ltd., and Changan Automobile acquired 50% equity of Changan Suzuki held by Suzuki. After the completion of the acquisition, Changan Automobile holds 100% equity of Changan Suzuki, and Suzuki Automobile has officially withdrawn from the China market.

Suzuki’s withdrawal from the China market is worth pondering. Changan Suzuki was founded in May 1993. As the first Japanese company to enter China to produce cars, Suzuki was the fourth Japanese car company in sales in China before 2014. With the upgrading of consumption and the increasingly fierce competition in the China market, Changan Suzuki brand has been gradually marginalized due to the slow introduction of new models and other factors. Since the sales volume of Changan Suzuki reached the historical peak of 220,000 vehicles in 2011, the sales volume of Changan Suzuki has been in a state of decline. Changan Suzuki, who has been deeply involved in the China market for more than 20 years, finally chose to withdraw from the China market.
▼ Cars are consumer goods that are difficult to drive by the star effect.
Before the official launch of 2018 fifa world cup, WEY signed a contract with cristiano ronaldo (C Ronaldo for short) and invited C Ronaldo to be the first spokesperson of WEY brand. During the World Cup, C Ronaldo, the world footballer, spoke for WEY, which caused a sensation and attracted a lot of attention. For WEY brand, signing C Ronaldo endorsement is an important step forward in marketing communication.

However, with the gradual dilution of the World Cup fever and the passage of time, C Ronaldo’s endorsement of WEY has gradually been forgotten by everyone. Previously, many first-line stars spoke for car companies, Jackie Chan spoke for Mitsubishi, and Jay Chou spoke for Na Zhijie. The coffee spots of the stars were not weak, and they all ended in "bleak". The main reason is that cars, as an industrial-intensive, technology-intensive and labor-intensive asset-oriented commodity, are difficult to achieve sales growth by relying solely on marketing.

Haval H6 is the "evergreen tree" in the sales list of SUV models, which concentrates the sales risk on one model and forms two competition circles with other strong independent brands. At present, WEY’s biggest competitor in the competition is Lectra. Although the "Focus Strategy" was first introduced by Great Wall Motor, Geely Automobile is the car company that brought it into full play. At present, Geely (including Lexus and New Energy) sells more than 20 mainstream models. Geely exerts a balanced force in the car and SUV market, especially for the compact market. In the first 11 months of this year, the proportion of compact retail sales was 55.25%, which was significantly ahead of the market share of medium-sized and small-sized market segments.
BEIJING, Beijing, November 28 (Zhang Ni Leng Haoyang) Recently, the Supreme People’s Court, the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Justice and the China Insurance Regulatory Commission issued a notice and decided to jointly carry out the pilot reform of "online data integration processing" for road traffic accident compensation disputes in 14 provinces and cities including Beijing, Hebei and Shanghai. In the future, it is expected that online mediation, online identification, online litigation and one-click claim settlement will be realized in the road traffic accident compensation disputes in the pilot areas.

Which provinces and cities have entered the pilot?
The Supreme People’s Court, the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Justice and the China Insurance Regulatory Commission recently jointly issued the Notice on the pilot reform of "online data integration processing" for road traffic accident damage compensation disputes in some parts of the country.
According to the Notice, the four departments decided to jointly carry out the pilot reform of "online data integrated processing" (hereinafter referred to as "online integrated processing") in 14 provinces and cities including Beijing, Hebei, Jilin, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui, Shandong, Henan, Hubei, Guangdong, Hainan, Sichuan and Chongqing.
What does online integrated processing include?
According to the requirements of the Notice, online integrated processing includes the processes of responsibility identification, claim calculation, online mediation, online appraisal, online litigation and one-click claim settlement.
In addition, the people’s courts in the pilot areas should establish and improve the docking mechanism of litigation and mediation, establish an online integrated processing platform according to the principle of co-construction, co-governance and sharing, and strive to realize online processing and information sharing of responsibilities identification, claims calculation, mediation, judicial expertise, court proceedings, one-click claims, road traffic accident social assistance fund advance and recovery, legal consultation and other businesses, and relevant departments and insurance industry should actively cooperate.
After the people’s court makes a judicial judgment online and serves it on the parties, it shall timely upload the relevant judgment documents and other litigation information.
Is there a charge for mediation through online integrated processing?
According to the Notice, whether to apply online integrated processing is voluntarily chosen by the parties concerned.
If the parties choose, before the dispute enters the litigation procedure, they should carry out pre-litigation mediation and one-click quick settlement in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Notice of China Insurance Regulatory Commission of the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Justice on Promoting People’s Mediation Committee to Mediate Civil Damage Compensation for Road Traffic Accidents and the Opinions of China Insurance Regulatory Commission of the Supreme People’s Court on Comprehensively Promoting the Construction of Docking Mechanism for Insurance Dispute Litigation and Mediation.
In addition, online integrated processing for mediation does not charge any fees.
What if one party refuses to perform after the court makes a ruling?
According to the Civil Procedure Law of People’s Republic of China (PRC), the People’s Mediation Law of People’s Republic of China (PRC), the Supreme People’s Court’s Opinions on Establishing and Perfecting the Contradictory Dispute Resolution Mechanism Linking Litigation and Non-litigation, the Supreme People’s Court’s Overall Plan for Expanding the Pilot Reform of Contradictory Dispute Resolution Mechanism Linking Litigation and Non-litigation, and other relevant regulations, the mediation agreement reached through online integration has the nature of a civil contract, and the parties concerned should abide by it.
The Notice emphasizes that relevant mediation organizations should upload mediation information such as mediation agreements in real time. Both parties may jointly apply for online judicial confirmation of the mediation agreement. After the people’s court has made a confirmation ruling according to law, if one party refuses to perform or fails to perform in full, the other party may apply for compulsory execution.

What should I do if I need to apply for identification in case of personal or property damage?
The "Notice" requires that when the traffic administrative department of the public security organ in the pilot area handles traffic accidents, if the parties are controversial about the compensation for the accident damage, they should actively guide the parties to choose online integrated processing, and timely transmit the relevant parties, accident vehicles, liability identification and other information to the online integrated processing platform. If the parties unanimously request mediation in writing from the traffic administrative department of the public security organ within the statutory time limit, mediation shall be conducted.
In addition, if the road traffic accident causes personal or property damage and needs to apply for appraisal, the mediation organization accepting the dispute may solicit the opinions of all parties, start the appraisal procedure online at the mediation stage, select the appraisal institution and obtain the consent of all parties, pay appraisal fees, transmit appraisal materials, notify all parties to be present for appraisal, form appraisal opinions and evaluate the appraisal opinions case by case, and feed back the evaluation results to the judicial administrative organ.
If one party entrusts the relevant department to make the appraisal conclusion, and the other party has enough evidence to refute and apply for re-appraisal, it shall be allowed.
Can I get paid quickly by initiating one-click claims online?
The Notice requires that the insurance regulatory agencies in the pilot areas should guide all insurance companies to actively make claims through online integrated processing. Where a case is settled through mediation or adjudication on the platform, if the parties initiate a one-click claim online, the insurance company should make a quick payment within the time limit.
How long will the pilot work last?
It is understood that the online integrated processing reform pilot will last for two years from the date of issuance of the Notice, and it will be implemented step by step. At this stage, it is only applicable to road traffic accident damage compensation disputes involving insurance, and relevant disputes that are not insured can be implemented with reference.
According to Liu Guixiang, a full-time member of the Judicial Committee of the Supreme People’s Court, the Supreme People’s Court, the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Justice and the China Insurance Regulatory Commission will jointly strengthen guidance, organize periodic inspections and summaries in due course, and promote them nationwide when conditions are ripe.
