Going into the garden? Search the bag first! CCTV reporters visited Shanghai Disneyland again, and the phenomenon of bag rummaging remained the same! Lawyer: This is infringement!

Shanghai Disneyland’s ban on bringing food and rummaging through bags has attracted more and more consumers’ attention.

On August 12th, CCTV financial reporters visited Shanghai Disneyland.

  The reporter visited Shanghai Disneyland

The phenomenon of bag rummaging still exists.

On the morning of August 12, the reporter bought the tickets for Disney on that day through the computer. During the purchase, there was no obvious indication that food was prohibited.

CCTV financial reporters clicked on the pre-departure instructions for entering the official website, and did not see any instructions on the prohibition of bringing food. Only when you buy tickets on your mobile phone can you see the relevant reminders at the end of the page.

Later, the reporter came to Disneyland and walked around the door, but he didn’t see any signs that it was forbidden to bring food into the park.

After entering the door, the first checkpoint is to check your belongings. The reporter saw that each inspection desk was equipped with two or three staff members, and tourists put items on the inspection desk in turn for the staff to check.

The staff opened the reporter’s backpack and said, "Water can be brought, but bread can’t be brought."

Security personnel: Food can’t be brought, but water can be brought. You can eat bread here. No food is allowed. Don’t bring it next time.

After checking the reporter’s backpack, the staff put the bread in the reporter’s bag again and told them not to bring it next time.

Subsequently, another reporter also entered the security checkpoint, and the staff did not object to the biscuits and water carried by the reporter. But when the reporter asked if they had the right to search the bag, the staff told the reporter that this was a paradise rule.

CCTV Financial Reporter: Do you have the right to search for packages? Can I just open it for you?

Security inspector: No, I can’t see below.

Security personnel: You must search. This is the rule of the paradise. If you want to do this, take out the things in your bag yourself.

Compared with the previous ban on bringing bread, biscuits and other foods, it seems that the inspection has been relaxed now, but many tourists think that there is an invasion of privacy in the case of staff searching bags.

Visitors to Shanghai Disneyland: I don’t think it is particularly reasonable, because there are some privacy things after all.

Visitors to Shanghai Disneyland: Personally, I think you are not a law enforcement officer. Relatively speaking, such words are a serious violation of personal privacy.

In addition, during the visit to the park, the reporter saw that there are dining cars and shops selling food and drinks every few meters. The price of an ice cream is in 40 yuan, and the price of a bottle of coke is in 20 yuan.

In the restaurant in the park, the reporter saw that many tourists came to eat at mealtime. The price of a set meal is around 100 yuan, and a stylish drink needs 88 yuan. Take a family as an example, the price of a lunch is about in 300 yuan.

Visitors to Shanghai Disneyland: The price in the park is too expensive. If you don’t allow food to be brought, but the price inside is closer to the people, this problem should be solved.

Lawyer: Shanghai Disneyland searched the bag for inspection.

  Invasion of privacy

Disney does not allow tourists to bring food into the park, and it is necessary to open tourists’ backpacks before entering the park to check the items carried by tourists. Are these legal?

In response to the ban on bringing your own food, Shanghai Disneyland responded to CCTV financial reporters, which is consistent with other parks in Asia.

CCTV financial reporters learned that Disney currently has six top family holiday destinations in the world. The three Disneyland parks in the United States and France do not prohibit consumers from bringing food into the park, while China and Japanese Disneyland, as Asian countries, prohibit bringing food.

Wang Longjie, lawyer of Shanghai Wanda Law Firm: Disney in different regions applies different standards, which is a double standard in itself. Is it legal for Disney to make this rule? This is not the decision of a certain enterprise. At present, this case has been filed by the People’s Court of Pudong New Area in Shanghai, and it is under trial. Whether it is legal or not, the court’s ruling will tell us the answer.

The reporter learned in the interview that an important reason why tourists bring food into the park is the high food price in the park. For example, the cost of a locker in the park is 80 yuan, and it costs 20 yuan to buy a bottle of coke. The price in the park is almost 5-10 times that outside.

Wang Longjie, lawyer of Shanghai Wanda Law Firm: Consumers have the right to choose consumption and services, and he can choose goods. Now, this rules out the behavior of consumers bringing their own goods to consume, and it can only make consumers accept the catering services provided by Disney in disguise. This behavior of Disney actually violates the Consumer Protection Law.

Lawyers believe that when we take public transportation such as plane, train and subway, we need to cooperate with the security check to check the things we carry with us. This is because in the face of public safety, personal privacy needs to be given some concessions, and it is supported by corresponding laws and regulations.

But Shanghai Disneyland checks tourists’ bags in order to prevent bringing their own food. Wang Longjie believes that this violates consumers’ personal privacy.

Wang Longjie, lawyer of Shanghai Wanda Law Firm: This kind of inspection can only be done if it is authorized by law. Disney is only a commercial enterprise, and it cannot have any power beyond the law. It is an act of inspection and search in disguise, which is an act of infringing on the privacy of others and is also prohibited by law.

At present, the overseas epidemic situation continues to spread, and the domestic epidemic situation is scattered at many points. Today, two new social screening cases were added in this city, indicating that there are still hidden sources of infection in the society, and the epidemic situation is severe and complicated. It is necessary to tighten the "four-party responsibility", strengthen remote control and near-end screening, and strengthen investigation and control at transportation hubs such as airports, stations and road checkpoints. If risk personnel are found, report them to relevant departments such as their communities (villages) in a timely manner; Communities (villages), schools, training institutions, commercial buildings, hotels, supermarkets and their internal business premises should strictly implement the main responsibilities, strengthen the investigation and control of risk personnel and risk points, do a good job in cleaning and disinfecting elevators, public toilets and other public places, conduct nucleic acid testing according to the prescribed frequency, adhere to one store and one yard, and assign special personnel to be responsible for it, and strictly implement the normal prevention and control measures such as scanning code and temperature measurement, and checking negative nucleic acid certificates, so as to ensure that everything will be swept and inspected.

Personnel returning to Beijing should earnestly fulfill their personal epidemic prevention responsibilities, strictly implement various epidemic prevention policies, take the initiative to report to relevant departments such as communities and units, enter and return to Beijing with a negative nucleic acid certificate within 48 hours and the green code of "Beijing Health Treasure", and do personal protection and health monitoring on the way. If there is a risk of epidemic, they will cooperate with the implementation of epidemic prevention measures on the spot and suspend their entry and return to Beijing. After returning to Beijing, we will carry out two tests for three days, complete a nucleic acid test within 24 hours after arriving in Beijing, and complete the second nucleic acid test within 24 hours and 72 hours after the interval. We will not have dinner or get together or go to crowded places within 7 days, do a good job in health monitoring, report to the community in time and seek medical treatment according to regulations.

Find out the problem of air pollution in 284 thousand key areas in 5 years

  Core reading

As of this year, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment has carried out air pollution supervision and assistance in autumn and winter for five consecutive years. In the past five years, it has helped local governments find 284,000 problems, comprehensively found out the environmental problems of air pollution in key areas, and fully guaranteed the successful completion of the "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" pollution prevention and control target.

  □ Our reporter Qi Jianrong

With the recent issuance and implementation of the Plan for Comprehensive Control of Air Pollution in Autumn and Winter in 2021-2022 (hereinafter referred to as the Action Plan), the action to combat air pollution in autumn and winter in key areas in 2021-2022 has been fully launched. According to the requirements of the Action Plan, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment will continue to carry out atmospheric supervision and assistance in key areas such as Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and surrounding areas to ensure the double reduction of heavily polluted weather and PM2.5 concentration.

According to Li Tianwei, inspector of the Law Enforcement Bureau of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, as of this year, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment has carried out air pollution supervision and assistance in autumn and winter for five consecutive years. In the past five years, it has helped local governments find 284,000 problems, comprehensively found out the environmental problems of air pollution in key areas, and fully guaranteed the successful completion of the "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" pollution prevention and control target.

Li Tianwei pointed out that this autumn and winter, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment will send a professional supervision and assistance team to strengthen supervision and law enforcement around key areas such as automatic monitoring and pollutant discharge permit, so as to do nothing to disturb law-abiding people and carry out precise strikes against offenders.

Found 284,000 problems in 5 years.

Suzhou Wanshen Flour Products Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Wanshen Company), located in Dongshili Circular Economy Park, Yongqiao District, Suzhou City, Anhui Province, mainly produces starch and has a 60t/h coal-fired boiler. According to the requirements of EIA approval, the boiler exhaust gas of Wanshen Company needs to be treated by SNCR denitration, bag dust removal and desulfurization wet electric dust removal integrated device, and then discharged through a new chimney equipped with automatic monitoring equipment.

However, in September this year, the law enforcement officers of the air quality improvement supervision and assistance working group in key areas sent by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment found during on-site inspection that part of the exhaust gas of Wanshen Company was not treated by the integrated desulfurization, wet electrostatic precipitation device, but was directly discharged through the abandoned old chimney without automatic monitoring equipment. This kind of behavior of Wanshen Company is a typical way to evade supervision and discharge air pollutants to pollute the environment.

Coincidentally. At the same time, Fuxin Liaoning Zhonghui Biotechnology Co., Ltd. stole air pollutants through emergency pipelines, Jinzhong Shanxi De Sheng Da Chemical Co., Ltd. stopped pollution control facilities without authorization, and air pollutants were discharged directly. A number of problems such as air pollutants discharged by Tangshan Rongyi Coking and Gas Making Co., Ltd. were verified.

In order to promote the continuous improvement of air quality in key areas, in early September, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment sent 16 professional groups and 46 regular groups to go deep into key areas to carry out air quality improvement supervision and assistance. Including Wanshen Company, Fuxin Zhonghui Biological, Jinzhong De Sheng Da, Tangshan Rongyi and other enterprises, were all found on the spot during this supervision and assistance.

According to Li Tianwei, the atmospheric supervision and assistance organized by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment began as early as 2017 and has lasted for five years this year.

"Since 2017, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment has coordinated the system-wide eco-environmental law enforcement team and backbone forces, and creatively organized and implemented atmospheric supervision and assistance in key areas." Li Tianwei said that through the investigation of more than 40 key special tasks, a total of 284,000 problems have been found in local areas, the environmental problems of air pollution in key areas have been comprehensively clarified, and the gap and crux of the formulation of policies, regulations and standards and the landing of tasks and measures have been identified, which has promoted the resolution of a large number of gas-related environmental problems.

According to Li Tianwei, since the 14th Five-Year Plan, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment has optimized and adjusted the supervision and assistance mechanism. This summer, this new mechanism was applied to the supervision and assistance of ozone pollution prevention and control in summer, focusing on key regional cities such as Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and its surrounding areas, Fenwei Plain, and digging into key industries such as steel, coking, petrochemical, chemical and building materials, and found a large number of outstanding problems such as by-pass emissions, non-installation or abnormal operation of pollution control facilities, abnormal operation of automatic monitoring or fraud, and assigned more than 10,000 local gas-related environmental problems, thus realizing the new mechanism.

According to Wu Xianfeng, deputy director of the Atmospheric Environment Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, since 2017, the air quality in key areas has been continuously improved through the implementation of the autumn and winter atmospheric attack. Among them. In autumn and winter of 2020, the concentration of PM2.5 in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and its surrounding areas and Fenwei Plain decreased by 37.5% and 35.1% respectively compared with the same period of 2016, and the days of heavy pollution decreased by 70% and 65% respectively. The Yangtze River Delta has basically eliminated the heavy pollution weather.

Heavy polluted weather still happens from time to time.

The Action Plan jointly issued by 10 ministries and commissions including the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the governments of seven provinces (cities) including Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei shows that in autumn and winter of 2020, the concentration of fine particulate matter (PM2.5) in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and its surrounding areas and Fenwei Plain showed a downward trend compared with the same period in 2016, and the people’s sense of blue sky acquisition and happiness were significantly improved.

At the same time, the Action Plan also pointed out that although positive results have been achieved in autumn and winter, the results of air quality improvement are still not stable. Heavy polluted weather in autumn and winter in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei and surrounding areas, Fenwei Plain and other areas is still high and frequent, which not only affects the people’s health, but also directly affects the completion of the air quality improvement objectives and tasks in the 14 th Five-Year Plan.

Liu Bingjiang, director of the Department of Atmospheric Environment of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, said that although China’s atmospheric environment has been improving continuously and rapidly, there is still a certain gap between the people’s expectations for blue sky, white clouds and twinkling stars and the goal of building a beautiful China. At present, PM2.5 pollution has not been fundamentally controlled; Ozone concentration is slowly increasing, which has become an important factor affecting air quality after PM2.5. Under unfavorable meteorological conditions, the process of heavily polluted weather still occurs from time to time. In addition, although the structural adjustment has made positive progress, the industrial structure dominated by heavy chemicals, the energy structure dominated by coal and the transportation structure dominated by highways have not been fundamentally changed, and the long-term, complex and arduous atmospheric environmental problems still exist.

This year is the first year of the 14th Five-Year Plan. The "Action Plan" pointed out that in the first half of this year, the product output and coal consumption of the "two high" industries rebounded significantly, and the pressure for continuous improvement of atmospheric environmental quality increased. According to Wu Xianfeng, this year’s tough action is mainly aimed at reducing heavy polluted weather and reducing PM2.5 concentration. On the basis of inheriting the effective work in the past, we will stick to the same direction and continue our efforts; Adhere to precise pollution control, scientific pollution control, and pollution control according to law, and further optimize and adjust the scope and measures of tackling key problems; Insist on treating both the symptoms and root causes, promote the adjustment of industry, energy and transportation structure, strengthen regional joint prevention and control, and actively respond to heavily polluted weather; At the same time, scientifically and reasonably set the average concentration of PM2.5 and the target of heavy pollution days in autumn and winter in relevant cities; While tackling the problem of atmospheric control, we will coordinate the stable operation of social economy and the protection of people’s livelihood, and focus on ensuring the supply of energy such as coal and electricity and ensuring warm winter.

Wu Xianfeng said that in 2021, the central air pollution prevention and control fund specially arranged subsidies for clean heating operation, and all of them have been distributed to local governments to ensure people’s warmth for the winter.

Investigating and handling nearly 200,000 illegal cases.

According to Li Tianwei, from 2016 to 2020, a total of 193,300 illegal cases involving gas environment were investigated and dealt with nationwide, with a total fine of 14.051 billion yuan. In the past five years, the proportion of gas-related administrative punishment cases and fines to all administrative punishment cases and fines has increased year by year. Among them, the proportion of gas-related administrative punishment cases to all administrative punishment cases has increased from 11.7% in 2016 to 36.5% in 2020, and the amount of fines has increased from 22.9% to 30.0%, especially the number of outstanding cases such as seizure, production restriction, administrative detention and suspected crime has increased significantly.

"Today’s autumn and winter atmospheric supervision and assistance will coordinate the two tasks." Li Tianwei said that one is to promote the task of tackling air pollution control in autumn and winter; The other is to timely investigate the implementation of emergency emission reduction measures according to the forecast and early warning of heavy pollution weather, and promote the "peak cutting and frequency reduction" of heavy pollution weather in autumn and winter.

Li Tianwei also revealed that the Ministry of Ecology and Environment is also deepening the application of "Clairvoyance" atmospheric environment remote supervision while organizing the national ecological environment law enforcement team to conduct on-site investigation directly at the ministerial level. "Analyze the high-value areas of fine particles and ozone concentration, identify the fire points and dust sources of straw burning, and push these alarm information to the local authorities. The local ecological and environmental departments will organize verification, give full play to local enthusiasm, and implement territorial supervision responsibilities." Li Tianwei said that "Clairvoyance" divided 428,000 square kilometers of 39 cities in key areas into 60,000 3km×3km grids by using satellite remote sensing, ground micro-stations and big data, and screened 5,000 hot-spot grids with high PM2.5 concentration for "kilometer-level" monitoring, and further accurately identified 1,000 500m×500m small grids for "100 m-level" monitoring.

According to Li Tianwei, since 2018, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment has pushed 65,000 pieces of abnormal environmental information to the ecological and environmental departments of 39 cities in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei and its surrounding areas, and instructed local ecological and environmental departments to investigate 75,000 enterprises and found 51,000 gas-related environmental problems.

Li Tianwei pointed out that in autumn and winter this year, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment will continue to stick to the same direction and make unremitting efforts, anchor the goal of improving air quality, especially the goal of basically eliminating heavily polluted weather, continue to organize supervision and assistance work in key areas, and promote the prevention and control of air pollution in key areas during the 14 th Five-Year Plan period.

Miss Zhang (a pseudonym), a citizen of Zhenjiang, bought a set of commercial housing from a developer as a wedding room, only to find that there were nearly 100 cracks up and down the house when it was renovated. Miss Zhang went to the developer to defend her rights, but the developer refused to pay attention. After learning about the situation, lawyer Chen Shilin personally visited the commercial house purchased by Miss Zhang several times before and after, and helped Miss Zhang contact the notary department to notarize the cracks and preserve the evidence. At Miss Zhang’s request, lawyer Chen Shilin accompanied Miss Zhang and her relatives to the developer several times to defend their rights and interests. The developer still has a tough attitude, saying that if you want to sue, you can’t win. Lawyer Chen Shilin first helped Miss Zhang to contact the Consumers Association, and asked the Consumers Association to help mediate the situation. At the same time, she prepared evidence materials and legal documents, and helped Miss Zhang to contact the appraisal agency to make an appraisal conclusion on the nature, causes and effects of housing quality problems, and was ready to go through litigation and apply for arbitration. In the mediation process of Consumers Association, developers still don’t cooperate to solve it. Fortunately, in the arbitration, under the careful preparation and due diligence of lawyer Chen Shilin, the developer finally admitted its quality problems and was willing to bear the repair costs and related losses of Miss Zhang during the trial. After Mr. Zhao failed to find a merchant to defend his rights, he was angry and took the merchant to court. Under the background that Zhenjiang Consumers’ Association and the competent court have established the docking mechanism of litigation and mediation, lawyer Chen Shilin actively responded to the call of the Consumers’ Association and the court, provided expert opinions and arguments for the pre-trial mediation of this case, assisted the Consumers’ Association and the court in doing a lot of work, and determined a more reasonable compensation amount in combination with the damage suffered by consumers, the amount of compensation claimed, the fault of merchants and the burden of proof, and actively promoted the mediation to close the case. In the end, under the mediation of the court, the merchant fully refunded Mr. Zhao and paid him nearly 1 million yuan in compensation. This case has aroused great repercussions in Zhenjiang City, and achieved good social effects, which has played a positive leading and exemplary role in consumer rights protection.

  (3) Lawyer Chen Shilin has organized lawyers to participate in public welfare activities such as the 315 party for many years to carry out consumer law popularization. During the period from 2015 to 2018, lawyer Chen Shilin actively responded to the call of Consumers Association, and organized many lawyers from Jiangsu Lutao Law Firm to participate in consumer public welfare activities such as the 315 party, so as to popularize consumer rights protection among mass consumers. The forms of participation are flexible and diverse, including home visits to consumer complainants, live broadcasts, off-site connections, and lectures on law popularization. The elderly have low resistance and a high proportion of basic diseases, and they are the high-risk group to cause severe illness after Covid-19 infection. Vaccination with COVID-19 vaccine can effectively reduce the risk of severe illness and death after infection. It is suggested that the elderly who are not contraindicated and meet the vaccination conditions should be vaccinated as soon as possible, and the booster immunization should be completed as soon as possible after 3 months of complete vaccination.

Amazon and shopee, a cross-border e-commerce platform, compare which one is better, their respective advantages and disadvantages.

Amazon and shopee, a cross-border e-commerce platform, compare which one is better, their respective advantages and disadvantages.

At present, the cross-border e-commerce industry is very hot, and there are many cross-border e-commerce platforms, such as Amazon, shopee, eBay, lazada, wish, etc., and each platform has its own advantages and disadvantages. Today, let’s talk about the hottest Amazon and Shrimp in the market.

First of all, let’s talk about the markets targeted by the two platforms:

Although Amazon is said to have opened stores all over the world, the sites it pays attention to are Europe Station, North America Station and Japan Station, and other sites have just been established for about a year, and they are still not very stable. Shrimp skin is mainly aimed at the Southeast Asian market. At present, there are seven major sites: Taiwan Province, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, Viet Nam and the Philippines. Relatively speaking, Taiwan Province Station is relatively easy to do, because the languages are similar, so Taiwan Province Station can be opened at the first stop.

Mode of platform

Amazon has two modes: FBA and FBM. FBA is the boutique mode. First, it needs a large number of goods to be sent to Amazon’s overseas warehouses, which are delivered by Amazon officials. The advantage is that the logistics cost is low and the timeliness is relatively fast. The disadvantage is that it needs to be stocked. Secondly, it is necessary to ensure that the goods can be sold, and if they cannot be sold, they will lose money. (Novice Xiaobai does not recommend doing FBA directly)

There are two modes of shrimp skin, boutique and distribution. The profit of shrimp skin is not as high as that of Amazon, which is about 30-50%, Amazon is about 40-70%, and special products are about 100-200%. However, the shrimp skin takes the order quantity, and it is no problem for a stable store to pay more than 40 orders a day. Unlike Amazon, Amazon takes the customer unit price, which may be several orders a day, but the customer unit price is high.

Store registration conditions of two platforms

Amazon: business license, dual-currency credit card, mobile phone number, email address and ID card.

Shrimp skin: business license, screenshots of the store’s order flow or capital flow in the past 3 months (any store can be used, such as Pinduoduo, Taobao, JD.COM, Amazon, etc.), QQ number.

Platform service fee

Amazon has no deposit, but the platform has store rent every month, which is 25 pounds for Europe station and 39.9 dollars for North America station, followed by 8-15 points after the store issues the order.

Shrimp skin has no deposit and no rent. In the first three months, shrimp skin still has a certain subsidy for the store. After three months, the platform will charge a 5% commission on the order, which is also deducted from the turnover after the transaction. Basically, it can be said that it is zero cost to open a store.

Communication aspect

Amazon didn’t chat in time. Customer service came and went through email. The seller only needs to reply within 24 hours.

There is timely chat customer service for shrimp skin. The first stop is Taiwan Province site, and the correspondence is sent in the form of traditional Chinese characters. shopee provides some measures for the seller about customer service. Indonesian and Thai sites, Shopee has local customer service teams, through which the seller can communicate with the buyer.

In terms of profit

Amazon’s customer unit price is higher than that of shrimp skin, and the profit is generally 40%-70%. The platform draws 8-15 points. The customer unit price is high and the profit is high, but the order volume is small.

The profit of shrimp skin is not as high as that of Amazon, and the profit of a single order is 30%-50%. However, shrimp skin is in volume, and orders are basically issued in the first week. It is no problem to issue dozens of orders in January. The orders for shrimp skin are not the same as those of domestic e-commerce. The orders for shrimp skin are basically that one buyer buys multiple goods at the same time.

Logistics aspect

The delivery process of Amazon FBM mode is that the store issues the order and sends it to the international transit warehouse, and then the staff of the transit warehouse packs it twice and issues it to foreign countries.

The delivery process of dried shrimps is to send them to the transit warehouse of dried shrimps in China after the store issues the order. There are five warehouses in Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Yiwu and Fujian, which are delivered by dried shrimps officials.

Store operation

All the modes of operation without goods supply are similar. They collect goods from other e-commerce platforms and upload them to their own stores. Amazon earns information difference and exchange rate difference between countries, and shrimp skin earns information difference and price difference. Amazon has no limit on the number of uploaded goods, but the number of new stores is only 1,000 in the first week. After the first week is over 1,000, it will apply to the platform for expansion, which will be unlimited after almost two or three applications. Shrimp skin has a limit on the number of uploaded products in the store. Only 1,000 products can be uploaded in the first month, and the number will be expanded to 3,000 after five orders are issued. At present, the maximum number will be extended to 2,000, and generally new stores will issue orders in the first week.

Prescription aspect

Generally, the logistics time limit of Amazon Europe Station in North America Station is about 25 days before customers receive the goods completely, and usually send air parcels.

The logistics aging of shrimp skin is faster than Amazon, because Southeast Asia is also close to us, usually in 5-10 days.

In terms of expense settlement

Amazon’s settlement method is that Amazon binds its own third-party collection account, and the third-party collection account is bound to my savings card. There will be an exchange rate conversion fee of 0.7, and the payment cycle of Amazon is 14 days, plus the customer receives the goods for about 10 days, which is almost 25 days. Shrimp skin supports P card and pingpong (third-party collection platform) to make payment. The payment cycle of shrimp skin is usually twice a month, at the beginning of the month and in the middle of the month, respectively, and the settlement currency is US dollars except Singapore station using Singapore dollar and Vietnam station using Vietnamese dong.

In fact, these two platforms have their own advantages and disadvantages. Amazon has high customer unit price and high profit, but the operation and logistics timeliness are not as simple as shrimp skin. Shrimp skin has low profit but large quantity, and it is easy to get started and operate. You can see the profit in a short time, and the logistics speed is relatively fast. All these two platforms are good choices at present. The final decision on which platform to choose depends on yourself (source: cross-border e-commerce bigwigs).

10.41 million copies! Why does China surpass the United States in nucleic acid detection?

Starting: Xinhua Daily Telegraph on May 16th.

Authors: Xinhua Daily Telegraph reporters Xiao Sisi, Xu Hongyi, Hong Zehua, Hu Nayun.

At the beginning of the year, Aarafi, an Arab businessman who works and lives in Guangzhou, personally felt the challenge brought by the global epidemic to foreign trade business. When talking about the epidemic prevention measures in China, the president of Guangzhou Arab Chamber of Commerce and Yemeni Chamber of Commerce gave a thumbs up.

"The COVID-19 epidemic has been brought under control in China," he said. "This is remarkable for a country with a population of 1.4 billion."

Three months ago, Aarafi returned to Guangzhou from a Malaysian holiday and has not left since. Later, the community provided him with free nucleic acid testing. "The medical staff is very caring. They set up a test point, and I can test it at any time. " He said.

Nucleic acid detection is recognized as the "gold standard" for the diagnosis of Covid-19 infection. China promotes "due inspection and complete inspection" and "willing inspection and complete inspection" in nucleic acid detection, and "accurately and efficiently" fights the epidemic from the source, safeguards people’s health, and promotes comprehensive resumption of work and production.

Nucleic acid detection: finding and cutting off the source of infection

On April 22nd, the Central Committee held a meeting to respond to the COVID-19 epidemic situation, demanding "accelerating the improvement of detection capacity and carrying out large-scale detection of nucleic acids and antibodies", and pointed out that "this is not only conducive to accurate prevention and control, safeguarding people’s health, but also conducive to the rational flow of personnel and promoting comprehensive resumption of work and production."

From the beginning of the outbreak of Xinguan pneumonia, the World Health Organization regarded the detection of every suspected case as the top priority of epidemic prevention and control. At the beginning of May, WHO once again emphasized the importance of thorough examination. Nowadays, more and more countries are aware of the importance of nucleic acid and antibody detection, and have expanded the scope of detection.

According to the data from the websites of the British Ministry of Health and the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, as of May 12th, there were more than 2 million swabs and serological tests in Britain and 9.72 million in Covid-19.

As of May 11th, there were more than 10.41 million copies, which is the amount of Covid-19 nucleic acid detected in Guangdong, the most populous province in China. As of May 11th, Guangdong Province has reported 1589 confirmed cases in COVID-19.

According to the relevant person in charge of the prevention and control headquarters in COVID-19, Guangdong Province, the epidemic situation in Guangdong Province continues to improve on the whole. However, as a big province of economy, trade and population mobility, the risk of overseas import still exists, and it is also facing the pressure brought by key areas and the gathering of people returning to work and production. The prevention and control situation of "external import and internal rebound" is still severe and complicated.

"Nucleic acid detection is the gold standard for the diagnosis of Covid-19-infected people," said the relevant person in charge of the prevention and control headquarters in COVID-19, Guangdong Province. According to the prevention and control of epidemic situation in Guangdong, taking the initiative to carry out nucleic acid detection can find confirmed cases and asymptomatic infected people as early as possible, accurately find and control the source of infection, thus cutting off the route of transmission, minimizing the risk of transmission, and ensuring the stable operation of economy and society.

Wu Jie, director of the Institute of Pathogenic Microbiology of Guangdong Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention, has been working in the front line of anti-epidemic. Her institution successfully isolated the first novel coronavirus strain in Guangdong on January 27th, which provided important germplasm resources for developing vaccines and antiviral drugs.

"From the people who came to Guangdong from Hubei and imported workers to those who have resumed work and production at present, Guangdong has adopted nucleic acid testing to conduct large-scale investigations on key populations, which has been done earlier, more and better." Wu Jie said, "This has played a key role in epidemic prevention and control."

Should check and check, willing to check and check: Where does the "confidence" come from?

On January 30th, Guangdong Province began to carry out large-scale screening of nucleic acid detection for fever outpatients. After that, the coverage population gradually expanded, including close contacts, fever outpatients, patients with epidemiological history in medical institutions, and imported personnel from Hubei Province.

Medical institutions and disease control institutions are the main forces to fight the COVID-19 epidemic. The reporter saw in the First People’s Hospital of Guangzhou that the hospital specially opened a "resumption clinic" to facilitate the public to do nucleic acid testing. According to Cao Jie, president of the First People’s Hospital of Guangzhou, according to the requirements, the hospital has increased relevant personnel and purchased reagents, which greatly shortened the time for nucleic acid detection. At present, the average daily nucleic acid detection amount is about 1,500.

Under the normal prevention and control, Guangdong Province will continue to strengthen the laboratory construction of medical institutions above the second level and disease control institutions above the county level, and encourage qualified third-party testing institutions to provide testing services to fully meet the demand of "willing to do all the testing".

Whenever the evening approaches, there are more ambulances and logistics vehicles entering Guangzhou Jinyu Medical Inspection Group Co., Ltd. These vehicles come from the CDC, hospitals and other units in the city, and frequently transfer the Covid-19 test samples collected on the same day to this private medical inspection institution.

"From the New Year’s Eve to the present, our Guangzhou headquarters laboratory has been conducting nucleic acid testing for more than 100 days." Cheng Yating, assistant to the president of Guangzhou Jinyu Medical Inspection Group Co., Ltd. and general manager of the laboratory management center, said.

At present, Guangdong nucleic acid testing institutions have grown from 92 medical institutions, 37 disease control institutions and 6 third-party testing institutions to 170 medical institutions, 53 disease control institutions and 28 third-party testing institutions.

"In order to meet the coverage of nucleic acid testing, we have launched all institutions that can do it." According to the relevant person in charge of the prevention and control headquarters in COVID-19, Guangdong Province, the daily nucleic acid detection capacity in Guangdong Province now reaches 230,000 copies.

Nucleic acid detection makes epidemic prevention and control more accurate and effective.

A month and a half ago, Guangdong doctor Lin Bingliang followed China to Serbian anti-epidemic medical expert group and arrived there to carry out epidemic prevention and control work. The chief physician of infectious diseases, who has worked in clinic for nearly 30 years, realized that improving the level of nucleic acid detection would be one of the keys to prevention and control for a country that had never faced such a major infectious disease. "For a new disease, the key is to find it and then block the source." Lin Bingliang said.

When China’s expert group first arrived in Serbia, the amount of nucleic acid detection in the country was less than 300 cases per day, and the nucleic acid screening was mainly carried out in the local infectious disease hospitals, and there were not enough medical personnel who could take throat swab samples. At the suggestion of the expert group, one month later, by expanding the detection points, the daily detection volume in Serbia increased to 3,600 cases. At present, community clinics in Serbia have opened case screening, and first-,second-and third-level hospitals can screen cases.

In Iraq, the China Red Cross donated a set of nucleic acid detection laboratory equipment, including two PCR instruments and 50,000 nucleic acid detection reagents. Chen Huai, an expert from the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University and a member of the China Red Cross expert group on Iraqi aid, said: "Improving Covid-19 detection capacity locally will help realize early detection, early isolation, early diagnosis and early treatment of patients."

According to Abbas, president of the Iraqi Red Crescent Society, China’s assistance and the arrival of the expert group are very important to Iraq, and testing is one of the most important measures to prevent and control the COVID-19 epidemic.

"Nucleic acid detection makes epidemic prevention and control more accurate, effective and timely, while antibody detection is used to evaluate the infection situation of the population at the later stage of the epidemic development. The starting points are different." Cheng Yating said: "Unlike other countries, which extrapolate the epidemic situation through the infection rate, we need to find out the disease and then control the epidemic. I am very proud to be involved. "

Talking from CarMax: The used car industry has entered the era of "all-round" war.

foreword

In general, the second-hand car market in China and the second-hand car market in the United States are also facing the challenges brought by the Internet and e-commerce, but there is still a big gap between the two sides in land policy and market environment, so it is impossible to make a parallel comparison. However, whether in China or the United States, the used car industry has entered the era of online and offline all-round war, and the lack of any link may make used car retailers at a disadvantage in the competition.

The used car market in the United States is highly dispersed. According to the data of the used car industry in the United States, there were about 40 million used cars sold in the United States in 2017, of which about 22 million were between 0 and 10 years old. There are about 18,000 franchised dealers in the United States (similar to domestic 4S stores). CarMax thinks this is their main retail competitor. Franchisees sell both new and used cars, so they master most of the new used cars. Franchisees also use their franchise relationship with automobile manufacturers to mark some used cars as "officially certified used cars", which is an advantage that ordinary used car retailers do not have, and CarMax is no exception.

Of course, in addition to franchised dealers, second-hand car retailers will also face competition from independent second-hand car dealers, e-commerce platforms and C2C trading organizations.

Established in 1996, CarMax, a second-hand car retailer, showed in its latest financial report that it has retailed 71,512 second-hand cars. With this achievement, CarMax has ranked first among second-hand car retailers in the United States. In addition, CarMax is one of the largest wholesale vehicle auction operators in the United States and one of the largest used car financing providers in the United States.

A long history does not mean that CarMax is complacent. In FY 2018, about 90% of customers who bought vehicles from CarMax first visited websites or mobile applications online.

Overview of CARMAX FY 2018 data

Today, we will briefly outline the commercial prototype of the largest used car retailer in the United States from three parts: retail, auction and finance.

retail

According to the latest annual report of CarMax, the company currently has 188 used car stores in the United States, of which 111 stores are located on their own land and 77 stores use leased land.. In FY 2019, CarMax plans to open 15 stores. In FY 2020, CarMax plans to open 13-16 stores.. At present, the number of CarMax employees has exceeded 25,000. In terms of vehicle sources, most of them come from individual car owners, and a smaller part comes from wholesalers, franchisees and independent dealers, and leasing companies.

The second-hand car business in the United States is also seasonal, with the strongest traffic and sales in spring and summer. Sales usually grow the slowest in autumn. In February and March, the traffic and sales of used car retailers began to increase, which coincided with the federal income tax rebate season in the United States.

The second-hand car industry in China also has seasonal laws, which started to decline in December of the previous year and gradually picked up in July.

The car purchase process in CarMax stores is different from the traditional American car retail experience. First of all, CarMax provides a free evaluation for the vehicle, and also provides a written quotation for the owner. After purchasing used cars, CarMax refurbished each used car to meet the relevant quality certification standards. This process includes checking the engine and all major systems. CarMax quality certification standards are developed by CarMax internally and are not affiliated with any third party or original equipment manufacturer. CarMax has the cost of renovation and maintenance in the quotation to consumers. Almost all used car shops in CarMax provide vehicle maintenance services, and the larger stores even have renovation services, which is similar to having the qualification and ability of a domestic first-class repair shop.

CarMax every used car must pass the inspection before it is sold, and promises to get a refund within five days. Each car is also provided with a 30-day limited warranty service, and some paid extended warranty services and financial services are provided to consumers.

Among the domestic second-hand car retail e-commerce companies, Renren, Guazi and Youxin have also adopted the methods of self-construction, joint venture or selection of a third party for second-hand car servicing. The preparation of used cars has a great influence on the price of vehicles and the consumer experience in the process of vehicle sale.

CarMax will transfer almost all the used cars in the inventory to local stores, and the storage is the store. In addition to retailing used vehicles, CarMax also sells new vehicles in two locations under franchise agreements. The integration of warehouses and doors and the sale of new cars are also one of the focuses of domestic used car e-commerce players.

auction

It is worth noting that CarMax pays attention to used cars of 0-10 years old; These vehicles usually cost between $11,000 and $35,000. CarMax evaluates vehicles by age, mileage or condition, and less than half of them meet its retail standards. Vehicles that do not meet the retail standards will be auctioned to franchisees through CarMax’s on-site wholesale auction.

In the United States, CarMax car auction market has two main competitors: Manheim, a subsidiary of Cox Enterprises, and KAR auction service company, which together account for 70% of the wholesale car auction market in North America. These competitors auction vehicles of all ages, while CarMax’s auction mainly sells older vehicles with higher mileage.

At present, the vehicles sold in CarMax wholesale auction are about 10 years old and have more than 100,000 miles. Dealers pay CarMax a certain percentage according to the sales price of the vehicles they buy. Its auction activities are usually held once a week or once every two weeks.

In other words, retailers who have the ability to obtain car sources from the C end will have more and better used car sources, while retailers like CarMax may keep good car sources for themselves and auction almost used cars to other players. Generally speaking, the ability to collect cars independently is very important in the used car industry.

Previously, Dasou car carried out an advertising campaign in the name of car dealers, one of the purposes of which was to strengthen the car dealers’ car collection ability and ensure that car dealers in the system maintained a strong C-end car collection ability.

At present, there are many e-commerce companies engaged in the auction of used cars in China, including Cheyi Auction, Youxin Auction, Alliance Auction, Weipu Used Car Auction and Daily Auction. Even a number of C2C second-hand car e-commerce companies have begun to actively deploy auction modes, such as the speed auctions of many car groups and the quick sales of everyone under Renren.

finance

In addition to the trading link, CarMax Auto Finance (CAF) is also one of the main sources of the company’s revenue. According to its financial report, as of February 28, 2018,CAFTotal revenue in fiscal year 2018$421.2 million,Compared with FY 2017, it increased by 14.1%.CAFIn its $11.62 billion managed accounts receivable portfolio, it is about895,000 customer accountsprovide services. However, it is worth mentioning that CAF is not the most important participant in automobile consumption finance, and the mainstream players are still banks, exclusive financial departments of new car manufacturers, credit cooperatives and independent financial companies.

Overview of CarMax automobile finance

CAF’s main competitors are banks and credit cooperatives that provide direct financing to customers who buy used cars. The main driving force of CAF’s growth is the growth of CarMax retail used car sales, and typical transactions drive financial growth.

The increase of CAF income is mainly due to the increase of average management accounts receivable and the decrease of loan loss reserve, which is partly offset by the lower percentage of total interest rate.

CarMax auto finance is mainly oriented to the retail market, and there are many players in China, such as Murray Finance and Youxin Finance. China used car e-commerce company also provides B2B storage services for used car dealers, and the main players are the No.1 car loan and the used car home. Earlier, the IPO financial report of Youxin showed that Youxin also participated in the second-hand car storage service.

Competition from Internet and E-commerce

However, it is undeniable that in the United States, the Internet is increasingly used in the second-hand car market. Buying and selling second-hand cars and providing vehicle financing may have a significant adverse impact on the sales and operating performance of CarMax.

American second-hand car retailers also face competitors from e-commerce, including second-hand car pricing information can be queried online, which makes it difficult for second-hand car dealers to distinguish their customers’ products from competitors’ products, resulting in a decline in retail profit margins. Although search engines and online classification websites are not the direct competitors of American used car retailers, online traffic is directed to the websites of competitive car retailers, which makes the competition of used car retailers more diversified.

It is more and more difficult to sell used cars through a single channel (whether online or offline), which is similar to the environment faced by domestic used car retailers.

For example, some websites provide consumers with online evaluation tools to generate quotations and promote consumers to buy at any used car retailer, and evaluation tools have become one of the entrances to used car transactions. There are also a large number of online appraisal companies in China, such as blueprint price, fair price, accurate appraisal, car 300 and car E appraisal. CarMax believes that online evaluation tools may increase the purchase cost of used car retailers because of price transparency.

In addition to the Internet and e-commerce, some companies in the United States sell software and data solutions to new and used car dealers, so that these dealers can provide source and price inventory more effectively. Domestic second-hand car management system providers include Big Windmill, Car Win, Car Netcom, Car Visitors and so on.

In general, the second-hand car market in China and the second-hand car market in the United States are also facing the changes brought by the Internet and e-commerce, but there is still a big gap between the two sides in land policy and market environment, so it is impossible to make a parallel comparison. However, whether in China or the United States, the used car industry has entered the era of online and offline all-round war, and the lack of any link may make used car retailers at a disadvantage in the competition.
