Russia and Belarus sign a document on the deployment of Russian tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus
On May 25th, local time, Russian Defense Minister shoigu and Belarusian Defense Minister Khrenin held talks in Minsk, Belarus, and signed a document on the deployment of Russian tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus. Shoigu stressed that the control of the tactical nuclear weapons deployed in Belarus still belongs to Russia.
In March this year, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that at the request of Belarusian President Lukashenko, Russia and Belarus had agreed to deploy Russian tactical nuclear weapons on Belarusian territory.
