In May this year, Bao Junyue, known as the domestic "pure electric Jimny", was officially listed. The new car is positioned as a small pure electric SUV, and the prices of the two models are 79,800 yuan and 89,800 yuan respectively.

Since Suzuki withdrew from the domestic market, its small off-road vehicle Jimny is hard to find a car in the domestic market. It is at this stall that SAIC-GM-Wuling timely launched Baojun Yueye, a small pure electric vehicle. Although in off-road performance, Baojun off-road is obviously very different from Suzuki Jimny, but the square design also makes it have a different general temperament, plus the layout of three doors and four seats, so many people will call Baojun Yue "electric Jimny".

For those young consumers who have no off-road demand and just want to buy a personalized car, spending 70,000 to 80,000 yuan to buy a personalized Baojunyue can also satisfy the curiosity to some extent.

Although at present, Baojun Yue’s market performance is not as good as expected, but the monthly sales of two or three thousand vehicles can make sense for Baojun, a car brand on the verge of bankruptcy.

Moreover, in this class, Bao Junyue has no rivals.

However, on August 28th, the official map of the brand-new model Panda Knight of Geely Automobile was officially released, so that Bao Junyue is about to usher in a brand-new opponent.

From the picture, Panda Knight also adopted the design style of hard-core off-road vehicle in appearance design. Angular body lines and a large area of blackened bumper under the front of the car make the new car look wild. The rounded headlights on both sides of the front net also add some retro and lovely elements to the new car. On the side of the car body, Geely Knight is not only equipped with blackened wheel eyebrows, but also designed a ladder similar to Land Rover Defender at the rear of the car.
