CCTV News:Walking into the cinema to enjoy an audio-visual feast has become a holiday choice for many people. As the key schedule of the year, this year’s National Day film has distinctive features, and the theme and feelings of home and country have become the key words of many films.

As the first film focusing on the behind-the-scenes story of China diplomats’ assistance in evacuating overseas Chinese, The Return of Wan Li, based on the real evacuation event, tells the story of China diplomats who opened a life channel with courage and wisdom in order to protect the safety of overseas compatriots. The film "Ordinary Hero" is based on the real incident of "rescuing a boy with a broken arm in Xinjiang", focusing on ordinary people, showing the process that a 7-year-old boy was finally rescued because of his accidental broken arm, with the cooperation of medical staff, airplane crew, many passengers and policemen Qi Xin. The film "Iron Will" tells the story that the broad masses of cadres and workers in Angang put into production and supported the battlefield of resisting US aggression and aiding Korea with iron will in the early days of liberation, overcoming difficulties and turning crises into opportunities, showing the feelings of home and country.

While the theme of the main melody leads the National Day movie, children’s movies such as "New Big Head Son and Little Head Dad 5" and "I am Tyrannosaurus Rex" will also be released during the National Day to attract more audiences of all ages to enter the cinema.

Earlier, the State Film Administration said that while insisting on the prevention and control of the epidemic, it will take measures to stimulate film production and consumption and promote the orderly recovery of the film industry through activities such as launching the film consumption season for the benefit of the people and issuing coupons for watching movies.
