＂New energy＂ blows out the new future of ＂old tuyere＂

On May 22nd, a reporter from Tory County, Tacheng District, Xinjiang went to emin county on National Highway 335, and saw rows of white fans arranged neatly on both sides, which became a landscape in Tory County. Toli County in Tacheng area has two strong wind areas, namely Laofengkou-Mayitas and Hejiaoke-Tieleketi, with long sunshine time in the same period. Tacheng area is fully promoting the large-scale and intensive development of new energy industry around the requirements of the construction of "eight industrial clusters" in the autonomous region. In the first quarter of this year, the total installed capacity of new energy was 4.3732 million kilowatts, and the power generation was 1.471 billion kWh.

At Huaneng Laofengkou Wind Farm, director Zhang Tong told reporters that Huaneng Tacheng Laofengkou Wind Power Project has installed eight wind turbines with a single unit capacity of 6.25 MW, which can provide 136 million kWh of clean electricity for the power grid every year, saving about 41,400 tons of standard coal every year compared with coal-fired power plants.

"We are the first mountain wind farm of Huaneng Qingneng Company, which can provide one-sixth of the electricity consumption of Tory County. At present, there are five staff members in the station, and only daily maintenance and overhaul are needed. " Zhang Tongfang said.

Not far from Huaneng Laofengkou Wind Farm, the 100,000 kW wind power project supporting Datang Laofengkou 25,000 kW/100,000 kWh energy storage project is under construction, and efforts are made to connect the grid with full capacity to generate electricity in August, turning wind power into electricity and delivering it to thousands of households.

"We plan to build 12 8.35 MW wind turbines. At present, the wind turbines with the largest single capacity in Xinjiang are under construction. After completion, the annual power generation will be about 260 million kWh." Han Zhiwei, project manager of Tacheng Wind Farm of Datang Xinjiang Power Generation Co., Ltd. said.

In order to speed up the construction progress of the project, Tacheng has set up a special service class to track the whole process of service construction projects. At present, there are 6 new energy projects under construction in Toli County with an installed capacity of 3.6 million kilowatts.

In the past, the "old tuyere" with frequent wind disasters has taken on a new look. Now, the wind of the "old tuyere" has become a new resource in Tori County, contributing to the development of new energy. Up to now, Toli County has built 830,000 kilowatts of new energy for grid-connected power generation, 3.6 million kilowatts of projects under construction and 4.43 million kilowatts of new energy. In February this year, wind power enterprises in Toli County generated 227 million kWh of electricity, up 9.8% from the previous month, and generated 423 million kWh of green electricity annually.

Toli County adheres to the development layout around the "eight industrial clusters" in Xinjiang and the "three economic sectors" in Tacheng area. The planned installed capacity of the wind area is 15.6 million kilowatts, covering an area of 3,712.08 square kilometers. "We should give full play to the leading role of local governments, mobilize the enthusiasm of investors, and promote the high-quality development of wind power and photovoltaic power generation, and strive to reach 5 million kilowatts of installed capacity of new energy by the end of the 14 th Five-Year Plan." Zhao Jing, head of the new energy industry department in Tori County, said.
